How to Submit a Prayer Request

Submitting a prayer request to Bethany takes less than a minute. Fill out the form below with as much or as little detail as you are comfortable sharing. There is no wrong way to ask for prayer.

Pastor Darnell Robinson and our prayer team read every request personally and hold each one in confidence. Your request is shared during group prayer only if you give permission, and never with personal details. You will not be asked to explain yourself or justify why you are reaching out.

When We Pray Over Your Request

Every request is prayed over personally by Pastor Darnell Robinson and our prayer team. If you give permission to share, your request is also lifted up, without personal details, during Sunday Worship at 10:00 AM or Wednesday Bible Study at 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Urgent requests are prayed over as soon as they come in, not held for a scheduled time. If you need someone to pray with you right now, call the church office at (214) 352-3552.

What Does the Bible Say About Prayer Requests?

The Bible invites us to bring every need to God in prayer. Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV) says, “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Scripture also calls believers to carry one another’s burdens. James 5:16 (KJV) tells us to “pray one for another,” and Galatians 6:2 (KJV) says, “Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” When you share a prayer request with Bethany, you are not asking alone. Pastor Darnell Robinson and your church family stand with you in prayer, and God hears every word.

How Else Can You Reach Bethany for Prayer?

If you would rather talk to someone directly, call the church office at (214) 352-3552 or contact us online. You can also ask for prayer in person after Sunday Worship at 10:00 AM at 6710 Webster St, Dallas, TX. If you are new to Bethany, a prayer request is a good first step before you plan your visit. Many people submit one before they ever walk through the doors, and that is completely fine.

What Happens After You Submit a Prayer Request?

Your prayer request does not sit in an inbox waiting to be noticed. Pastor Darnell Robinson and the prayer team read every request personally and pray over it. If you asked for a follow-up, someone from our team will call or email you so you know you were heard.

For urgent needs, such as a hospital stay, a sudden loss, or a crisis that cannot wait, we try to reach out the same day. For ongoing situations, such as a job search, a health journey, or a strained relationship, your request stays on our prayer list and is lifted up week after week, not once and forgotten. At Bethany, prayer is something we do with people, not only for them.
