Baptism in Dallas
Ready to Declare Your Faith in Jesus Through Believer’s Baptism?
Baptism in Dallas at Bethany Missionary Baptist Church is a public declaration of what God has already done in your heart. Baptisms take place during Sunday worship at 10:00 AM at 6710 Webster St, and Pastor Darnell Robinson will walk with you every step of the way.
What Is Believer’s Baptism?
Believer’s baptism is a step a person takes after placing their faith in Jesus Christ. It does not earn salvation. It is a public declaration of what is already true: you belong to Jesus, and you are choosing to follow Him in front of your church family.
Buried With Christ, Raised to New Life
Romans 6:4 describes baptism as being buried with Christ and raised to walk in newness of life. Going under the water pictures the old life left behind, and coming up out of the water pictures the new life you now have in Him.

Who Can Be Baptized at Bethany?
Anyone who has placed their faith in Jesus Christ can be baptized at Bethany. You do not need to be a church member first. Parents of children and youth are encouraged to reach out so we can talk together about spiritual readiness.
You Have to Become a Member to Be Baptized?
No. Baptism and membership are related at Bethany, but they are separate steps. Many people who are baptized go on to make Bethany their church home, and we are glad to talk with you about church membership whenever you are ready.

How Do You Get Baptized at Bethany?
Getting baptized takes three simple steps. There is no pressure and no timeline but yours.
